
Liz Palla
Executive Partner
A veteran of the William E. Simon Foundation, Liz has over two decades of experience in the nonprofit and philanthropy space. She leads AmPhil Giving and specializes in strategic assessment and planning, donor intent, foundation operations, and giving program management. She has had the joy of supporting the giving of dozens of donor clients, including the Bradley Foundation, Connelly Foundation, and individual philanthropists. She and her husband are based in California’s Bay Area and have five children.

Maria D'Anselmi
Senior Consultant
Maria D’Anselmi is a Senior Consultant with AmPhil’s Donor Advisory, where she serves philanthropists and private foundations. Maria has experience in strategic giving planning, donor intent analysis, grantee due diligence and evaluation, and giving program management. Before joining AmPhil, Maria gained insight and experience with the policy sector and nonprofit operations through her work as a program officer at the Manhattan Institute’s Adam Smith Society.
Maria holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Dallas and currently lives in Philadelphia. In her free time, Maria enjoys the performing arts, particularly theater and film, and spending time with her family.

Vice President, Gift Planning
As the Vice President of AmPhil’s Gift Planning Team, Stephanie works with clients to implement successful gift planning programs and identify giving strategies that best align with donors’ needs and intent.

Senior Director, Strategic Partnerships
Jack Fowler is the Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships at AmPhil, bringing nearly three decades of leadership experience and collaboration with thought leaders, members of the philanthropic community, and leading foundations. The former publisher of National Review, Jack is the editor of the Center for Civil Society's Philanthropy Daily, author of the weekly Civil Thoughts newsletter, and host of the Victor Davis Hanson: In His Own Words Show podcast. He has served on numerous boards, including the American Mental Health Foundation, Human Life Foundation, Frontier Center, GenJustice, National Review Institute, Daily Signal Foundation, and Gatestone Institute.

Cecilia Diem currently serves as a Director at AmPhil, where she advises clients on leadership development, philanthropic planning, and capacity building strategies and implementation. Her experience working with both donors and nonprofits has given her a particular passion for effective, values-driven philanthropy.

Chris Kuetemeyer is the partner and Chief Executive Officer at AmPhil, where he brings over twenty years of nonprofit leadership expertise, including transforming FOCUS's fundraising from $1 million to $25 million in annual commitments while building partnerships with philanthropists nationwide. Chris works with nonprofits and donors to achieve their goals through strategic planning, executive coaching, and mission-based fundraising.

Co-Founder, Executive Chairman
Jeremy Beer is the Executive Chairman and co-founder of AmPhil, where he draws on decades of experience in philanthropy, fundraising, and nonprofit leadership to advise donors, foundations, and nonprofits. He is the author or editor of eight books, including The Philanthropic Revolution: An Alternative History of American Charity and The Quest for Belonging: How the Most Effective Nonprofit Leaders Understand the Psychology of Giving. Jeremy serves on the board of Christendom College and the T.W. Lewis Foundation, and on the advisory board of the Institute for Philosophy, Technology, and Politics at St. Patrick’s Seminary and University.

Doug Schneider is an Executive Partner at AmPhil, where he brings over two decades of experience working with nonprofits and donors alike, including strategic planning for foundations, donor-advised fund management, donor intent advising, and guiding organizations on major gifts, mission campaigns, and development strategy.
